Bath Salts

What people aren't talking about is the violence. And I don't mean the face eating, which is clearly not typical of an OD on bath salts.

They're not talking about needing 9 people just to get someone peeking on bath salts out of the back of a police cruiser. They're not talking about people getting high on this shit and walking into ( Read more... )

this shit is important, public service announcement

Thank Chriss, she's the one that wrote it. I simply copied it. So many of my friends are joking about this, acting like it isn't a big deal. They don't understand how dangerous this drug is and what it can do to a body. It's fucking terrifying.

It really, really, really is terrible. There's a town a few hours north of where I live and the hospital there is seeing 10 cases a week. And that's just the people that are bad off enough to be brought in to the ER.

This shit is bad news.

Everything is so sensationalized anymore. It's sad, because society just gets so overwhelmed with news stories about people eating each other's organs that the real issue is skirted over.

I watched a news report of a young boy (he was either 11 or 14, just heart breaking) who used bath salts, and he ended up hallucinating 34 or 36 cop cars in his parents front lawn, and police helicopters, then he turned around and said he didn't feel right, picked up a butcher knife and slit his throat in front of his parents.

He lived through that only to take his own life a few days later.

THAT STORY is the real face of this drug.

Jesus Christ. That poor boy. That family. God.

I can't even imagine... Jesus.

I know, right? This shit needs to not be legal. The governments standing by doing NOTHING but crossing their arms across their chest (be they state/provincial or federal) makes me absolutely irate.

It's fucking horrible what that shit can do. I totally agree. (I mean, personally, I'm all for legalizing pot and drugs in general, but this shit scares the snot out of me, not gonna lie.)
