Reader question: Non-oily sunscreen
lucky4_you i want to start wearing sunscreen at least on my face whenever i leave the house, but i can't find anything that doesn't make my face greasy-- i don't really wear moisturizer. Any ideas?
Lets see...a few good ones are Aveenon Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer, Murad Oil-Free Sunblock for face and Bliss Oil Free Sunban Lotion for the face. You're basically going to want to look for an oil-free formula. Also, just because you have oily skin doesn't mean a moisturizer will be bad for you. In fact, it would probably help to decrease the oil production--if skin is dried out by products, it can start overproducing oil and create that sheen. So if you instead use an oil-free moisturizer, your skin will be more balanced.
