Rockin' a Friday Night!

So I went to watch some Homocore bands play on friday night at the Jackhammer. It was called the "Flesh Hungry Dog Show" after the band with the same name, they picked up the cause after Jinx Titanic moved to LA. It's nice to have someone trying to do more than the same old shit here in Chicago. I was all prepared to go by myself as usual when I got an unexpected email from my bud Micheal Joseph. He, The Girl and I all worked together at one point. M.J. was the only cool kid who could hang with me and The Girl. I like him a lot because he is so big and goofy. Plus we are the same age and can relate to the same stories with one another. But he changed jobs and works all the time in some suburb, god knows where? He is also in a band called The Fighting Scientists, you can find them on myspace. I haven't seen this kid in like a year and it was so fucking awesome that he was gonna be at the same show. So the bands that were playing that night were The Camaro Rouge, The Reptoids, and The Shondes from NY. Well Camaro Rouge played first and overall I liked them. The Reptoids were next and this was the band that M.J. wanted to see. They were ok but the last band to play was The Shondes. This band was amazing and I really liked thier sound. Thats why the only pics that I am sharing are of them. Also M.J. brought some friends with him that night that didn't know that they were coming to a gay bar. We totally got our picture taken by some old dude who told us that we would be featured in some gay rag soon. LOL It was so funny to watch them laugh nervously as the old crusty queen asked which of the four of us were the tops. LOL I just pointed to them and said they were and that I was thier bitch.
