One Love...

Long weekends are never long enough, are they?

Saturday, Heather and I spent the majority of the day outside. We went to the farmers' market first wearing our sundresses and garish straw hats. *lol* We got a few comments about our ensembles so that was hilarious. We both managed to forget things at the market. First, Heather forgot her sunglasses at the last table we were at and she realized it when we were halfway to the car. Second, we got home and as I was e-mailing Andrew about what I got, it dawned on me that I forgot a potted plant I got at the market. >.< So, back we went and thankfully the nice perogies man had turned the plant over to lost and found so I could retrieve it. Mios dios, we would lose our heads if they weren't attached. After that, we went to Boon Burger for lunch outside and then headed to the Osborne Street Fest, which Heather had never been to. We left the street fest with $5 purses (mine is a total hippie, green pouch bag with a peace sign on it) and cover-up wrap sundresses.

The rest of my weekend has been spent doing very little short of relaxing and watching Weeds. I tidied up a bit, getting a hold on the laundry and doing some vacuuming, doing some yard work like weed-wacking and tending flowers, but that was it. I just wasn't feeling it, ya know? Frankly, it doesn't bother me all that much. I can do slow tidying throughout the week, but overall I'm fine. And the rest of the laundry can be done whenever.

I wish I had dreadlocks. However, my hair is quite fine and not thick at all so I probably don't have the hair for it. Plus, I would inevitably get bored of it then would have to shave my head and, as we all know, I hate growing my hair out. EDIT: After doing more research, it seems I could get dreads and have them removed without shaving should I wish. Something to think about! Speaking of which, I'm thinking of doing an asymmetrical mohawk (i.e. shaving one side of the head as opposed to both) for the time being. We'll see.

Maybe I should do a quick yoga session...
