The Supreme Dream Team Always Up With The Scheme...

My parents came in yesterday to help renovate the bathroom. The floor around the toilet was deteriorating causing the toilet to sink on one side. So Friday night I ripped up the vinyl tiles which caused a horrific smell from glue and god knows what. Then yesterday, my Dad ripped out the floor around the toilet, revealing a whole lot of mould (sick) and...a parasol! That's right, there was an Asian umbrella under the floor of the toilet! How weird is that? I guess the people who owned the house over 10 years ago put it in the drop ceiling downstairs and forgot all about it. :P It's in really good shape so I'm just going to dust it up and keep it. Once the nasty mould covered wood was removed, Dad put in new wood and installed our new dual flush toilet. One day, we'll get a new sink and a new storage unit for the bathroom. Anyway, the new toilet is super awesome, but it's 16" high at the seat which means my feet dangle slightly, hahaha! Last night, Andrew installed the new vinyl tiles (though I started the job off :P) and left the most difficult one which had to be cut to go around the toilet. So, I dealt with that pain in the ass this morning and caulked all the shizz up. I am the Caulking Queen. I think it all looks pretty nice. The tiles are browns and reds which look pretty decent (though it wasn't our first choice, just the most practical one) and, as I said, the new toilet is so awesome.

On Friday night, I (finally) had a modelling gig and I took Romeo along to be in the shots. :) I can't wait to see them because some of them were super cute. Romeo is so incredibly well behaved when he's away from Mia (which makes me sad that Mia is so rambunctious). The shoot was at St. Vital Park and he basically just sniffed around and minded his own beeswax. He got a little excited when he saw dogs, but nothing out of control and he completely ignored people. A guy brought his toddler (definitely under 2 years old) up to Romeo as she wanted to pet him and he was very good about it. He couldn't care less that she was touching him and, thankfully, she wasn't one of those kids who just grabs at dogs. He was also excellent for the car ride.

I've noticed items I've ordered online from the US are taking longer than usual to arrive. Is anyone else in Canada experiencing this?

Well, I guess it's time to tidy up and maybe finally have a bath, haha.
