I Told You I Was Trouble...

I had a Steeped Tea party which was combined with a Pampered Chef party at a co-worker's house yesterday. It was pretty nice. I didn't expect so many people to buy tea stuff so that was quite awesome for me (free stuff, woo!). The tea presenter made an awesome iced tea. Normally, I'm not a fan of taking tea and chilling it to make iced tea; I prefer Good Host fake stuff. However, this was super awesome. She used a berry tea and mixed it with a roobois tea, chilled it, and it was amazing. No sugars added since the fruit and roobois were natural sweeteners. I'm getting a clear glass teapot, some tea flowering balls so you can watch them bloom in said clear teapot, and various teas. Yum! I got a sample of white tea and a perfect measuring spoon. I'm going to try the white tea a bit later as I'm just polishing off some yerba mate. EDIT: White tea was quite yummy. I might prefer that over most green teas I have.

Before that get-together, I headed to the Village to get my hair done. I needed my 'hawk fixed up and my greys covered. :P Last time I had a "raccoon tail" (dyed stripes) and this time I asked to have some pink leopard print spots put on one side of my head. They turned out more like giraffe spots because of the size, but it's still pretty awesome. She added a few more pink highlights and a bit of a rat tail so that's also fun. I love getting my hair done. :)

I'm finally getting back into the swing of making food. I went on a long streak of not wanting to consistently make food and instead would have quick fixes. No more of that! I love cooking and it's much better for me, of course.

I haven't done any modelling gigs since July and I'm hoping to change that soon. I have a few plans booked with various people to hopefully transpire over the next few weeks. I was supposed to do a horror one at home yesterday, but the photographer had to reschedule so that's alright.

I went to Value Village today to check out Halloween costumes. I want to go as Elvis since I now have blue (faux) suede shoes (ankle boots) and big gold sunglasses. They didn't have any Elvis costumes for adults, not even jumpsuits. :( So I got costumes for the dogs and Halloween slippers and socks for me. Mia's costume is pink princess and Romeo's is Dracula, hahaha.
