at christmas she brought home stuff that her parents didn't want and that she felt was trash as christmas gifts for me and alicia. how.. sweet. today she is offering her old, worn, pots and pans to me and alicia before she throws them out. don't you love that anything she departs upon us as gifts are things headed to the dump? old clothes hand me downs i can understand, but tins and tins of stale old peanuts? old unopened bags of pasta? unusable pans (cause even her greasy sausages sticks to it!)?

no, i think not. your level of charity is astounding, but i must politely decline.

oh, and if people actually lived by our house rules as discussed we wouldnt have the problem of no clean pans available for cooking. you sick hefer. wash dry and put away usually means right after youre done with them. i can understand the few exceptions like, "i was on my way to work and decided to do them as soon as i got back", but leaving your dirty dishes in the sink for over a day is only accumulating mold, flies, and stink.
