Day 2?
I am in Tokyo! So far I have successfully caught my plane from Seoul (though I had help finding the bus), confused the immigration desk staffer by answering in Japanese, found my way to Shinjuku by subway (and helped a UCLA student find her way) and checked into the hostel where I am staying in a cubby (I'll show you pictures). I also bought dinner and a chocolate bar. I have learned that it is very helpful to read kanji. I don't have nearly enough of them learned.
