OK! Well im finally back from our family vacation and it was pretty freakin sweet. Paris was amazing and so very very romantic. Rome and Assisi and Florence were also great. Knowing me, it would take waay to long for me to explain the whole vacation so instead ill make a list of all the good and bad aspects:
-europe is make for groups of 2, 6 is a bit awkward
-very smelly, they dont believe in deodorant
-small cars
-beautiful people
-"prego" having 20 meanings
-gelato
-caffe au lai
-pope
-tours for everything
-spunky styles
-men with purses and white capris
-women with mullets in a stylish way
-stray cats chilling at ruins
-ruins everywhere
-ppl who dont speak english
-flirty italian men
-vatican bling
-museums
-witnessing every original piece of art from my world civ 1 and 2 class textbooks
-reading harry potter
-segway tours
-segway tour guide
-scooters
-crazy driving
-wine with dinner...every night
-every restaurant having the exact same menu
-having my mom try to speak french and italian
-trains
-mediterranian beaches
-more gelato
-rip off purses and sunglasses
-F.I.M. = female irish music
-strobing eiffel tower
-the paris ferris wheel
-David
-Sistine chapel
-Versailles
-paintings
-6 hr time difference
-security checks at the airport
-dUOmo....i hate how that sounds
-taking a walking tour with our i pods but actually just listening to music with ben and pretending we are..
-Time Elevator
-the history
-eating uncooked bacon and wanting to throw up
-waiting for buses
-smelly metro in paris
-shopping
-birks half price
-laughing till i cry
-witnessing two old ladies passing out
-going to an opera and watching how bored my dad is
-trying really hard not to laugh when we watched a monologue done in italian and didnt understand a word
-getting water...with gas
-euros
-cappucino with steamed milk in the shape of a heart on top
-having a cat jump into my moms lap while we were eating breakfast
-marble everywhere
-churchs everywhere
-and fountains
-bernini, raphael, da vinci, michael angelo and the rest of the ninji turtles
-getting emails from ppl
-amazingly long plane flight
-turbulence
-life vest = schwimmevest
-taxis
-finding out that busing stop running at midnight the hard way
-lebanese naps
-spending time with family
...priceless....
thats all i can remember for now. but all in all it was really amazing and really busy. i had a great time and having many stories if you are interested...but im really glad to be home and be with friends (elana cried when we got back..hehe shes so cute). unfortunately im still trying to recover from jet-lag. yay italy
