snapple mapple bees (Applebees)
Hi. I'm drunk. So, that means you get a really honest opniion of (yeah im not fixin the typos) what i think about applebees (snapple mapple beesedness). Yeah. I freakin'; love it.
k i just flipped the chix (thats how it is in the work computer) nuggets and im back.
Anyway yeah i love it. i'd wait tables my whole life if the money wasn't such shit. you're on your feet, movin' aruond. not in a cublicle. you meet people. if you go out of your way to make jokes and talk to people they will be nice to you, want to talk to you, and then leave you a good tip. no cubicle. no "the project officer will smash us with a golden hammer of doom" if we don't get a pro9ject done on time. its just you, the customer, and the kitchen, working together to give someone a good meal. i had a table today with a lady who found a bug on her plate...and i handled it so well she left me what ended up to be a 40% tip. she was nice. we talked about why i was in MS. She was dating a guy 12 years older than her. her daughter (who was with her) didnt care and liked the guy. it was cool.
Anyway, (thats the second para im starting with "anyway") I like waiting tables. It's fun and it makes me feel good. The prob is,...the money is not that good. I made $33 in tips tonight. It's only my second day outside of training so I only had two tables all night. A long term girl had 6 tables and made $70 bucks. If I had six tables, who all tipped like my peeps, that means I would have made $90. That's hot. It makes me happy. anywho..I did good for only two tables, and I could have handled more.
