Update long past due

So I've been in school for two weeks now? Or is it three. Well actualy like five... but I mean Term 2...Am I still talking?

Anyway classes are totally tough. Neuro is just so much stuff to learn and apparently we have to know EVERYTHING so I'm desperately trying to learn it all, remember it etc. I'm trying the flash card approach for Neuro and I'm only half to caught up. Physio is pretty ok right now cuz I majored in it so its ok right now but I need to make sure and not blow it off because it is in much more detail than when I took it. Immuno is taught by the worst teacher ever, the 3rd termers call her Wacky Jackie... man it fits.

In other good news, I was accepted as both a DES review tutor and a Anatomy Department TA for Anatomy! So it will keep me up to speed on anatomy and I'll get a handful of peanuts at the end of each month :) I figure if nothing else I can hang out in the lab and study neuro and answer peoples questions. The real good news is if I am reasonably good at both I get good letters in my file which improves my Dean's Letter.

Speaking of Dean's Letters.... I'm actively researching transfering to another school in light of my reasonably ok grades... I missed the IEP honor society but hopefully after this term I would be eligible. Finding schools which will accept transfer students at all let alone one from a foreign school is really hard... but so far I'm starting the state of Florida and I've found four schools. One school only accepts 2nd year transfers two accepts both but has no 2nd year spots next year and one is 3rd year only. So I'm trying to get information together to fill out a few applications and find out about transfering transcripts and MCAT scores and blah blah its like applying to medschool all over again. the odds are really low but they sound better then getting into med school in the first place. like 5% or something like that. So hopefully with good TA experience in my deans letter I can be a good applicant :)

Ok well more research and studying to do
