10 years ago I was...
- Damn, I can't remember what country I was in...that would be my 8th birthday...carry the 5...uh...
- I think I figured it out. I'm pretty sure I was in the Dominican Republic, in the City of Santo Domingo, attending Carol Morgan International School (more aptly known as the Non-International School for rich Dominicans. What an awful, awful school.)
- In third grade. My teacher would yell at me for reading too much, and for 'making up words' like 'paleontologist'. AHHHH! I had terrible elementry school experiences.
- In love (or in crush) with a Dominican kid, Antonio, who would kiss me in art class. Then the other Dominican kids would tease us in Spanish and I'd beat them up.

- Thirteen? Boy, my math skills are up to par.
- Clinically depressed at an Australian all girls non-international school for the first time in my life
- Just discovering DM and the wonders of the internet
- Developing my love of penguins into a general love of all feathered creatures
1 year ago I was...
- Sixteen, just about to turn seventeen
- Getting the lay of the land in Thailand (which proved much, much easier than in Australia)
- Roleplaying at DM and sending constant emails to my Aussie friends. I've gotten really lazy.
- Working my butt off
Yesterday I...
- Hung out with Eleo and went across town to see the Middle School musical production "The Curse of the Mummy" which was the cheesiest thing I've ever seen, but really cute
- Went to the tailor to see if my prom dress was ready (ahhh, prom is today! I hate these parties; I have to do them enough for diplomatic crap already)
- Called Mario. We talked for about five hours about NOTHING. I love that boy.
- Filled out forms for my new position at the embassy (they want my fingerprints and blood tests too; I feel like I'm applying for the CIA) and tried to help mom think up ideas for the CLO costume party. She went as the Pink Panther and then changed into Tinkerbell when she began frying under the fake fur :P
5 snacks I enjoy...
- Nachos (i.e. chips with cheese melted over them)
- Triscuits (when the commissary stocks them)
- CHOCOLATE
- Dried apricots and yogurt rasins
- Popcorn
5 songs I know all the words to...
- The songs from The Lion King...that movie makes me incredibly homesick
- Most of the songs Sunny sent me months ago on the 'DM A list'. My favorites remain 'Achilles Heel', 'High Above Me', 'Beautiful', and most of all 'All The Pretty Ones'.
- Most of the songs Mystix sent me. Except 'I Am the Walrus' (WTF?)
- All of the songs on the Billy Joel CD I got several years ago at a sale somewhere, and I went 'ohhhh, so this is music...'
- Uh...the Simpsons theme song (lol)
5 things I would do with 100 million dollars...
- Buy that massive house my parents have always dreamed about
- Start a bird/animal sanctuary
- Hire an assasin. I won't say what for *shifty eyes*
- Buy Clairey an art studio. And ship tablets to all of my online artist friends.
- Buy loads of Nambroth art.

- Fire Island (New York)
- The Okavango Delta (South Africa)
- Hobart (Tasmania)
- Wellington (N. Zealand)
- Winhoek (Namibia)

- A leatard (sp?)
- A mini-skirt...unless it was for a costume party or something
- Real fur
- Insanely high high heeled shoes
- A see-through shirt with no bra on (why do people do that?)

- Scrubs!
- The Simpsons/Family Guy/American Dad
- Who's Line is it Anyway (I saw it in the states)
- Gilmore Girls (a not-so-secret pleasure)
- Anything by Sir David Attenborough on Animal Planet, BBC or Discovery
5 bad habits...
- Biting my nails (me too, Sun and Liz)
- Rescuing birds (when a bird runs into a window, I tend to spend the next several hours saving it, miss class, and get in trouble. That's happened three times now. NOT a good habit what with bird flu down here...)
- Not emailing people or posting things
- Speaking my mind about and getting really angry at idiots
- Not making an effort to get to know people I've just met but didn't have a good first impression of

- Hampster-piling with good friends and laughing

- Mercury (yeah, I know that Erash would kill me if he didn't, but he's my dreamboat. Oh, and Gekijin! Purrr. Never mind that I'm not a gryphon...)
- Most fictional assassins. That Opus Dei monk from 'The DaVinci Code', that guy from 'The Bourne Identity', Kain from 'Dreamfall', any James Bond assassin, any fantasy assassins, and Talanion and Everette :) Baddies are hot.
- Klaxtil *snuggles him* But I think Kio deserves him more.
- Didi or Gogo from 'Waiting for Godot'
