It looks like Sleepy Hollow and Saving Hope are both trying to reboot their shows a little bit. They've both resolved a bunch of old plotlines--especially Sleepy Hollow--and whittled their casts down. I assume we'll be getting some new characters as the season progresses.

I'm enjoying both so far.

Minor spoilers ahead )

Seconding all of the above re: SH. I'm not entirely sold on the whole Betsy Ross thing. Trying not to be bitter that they're making her the competent spy Katrina was supposed to be is getting in my way a bit, I admit, but I'm... skeptical. That was really my only fly in the ointment, though, other than Irving missage.

I agree about Betsy Ross. They could have done so much with Katrina there! (I think part of the problem in the present was that Katrina was too powerful and knowledgeable, so presumably they plan to fix that with her replacement, but I'm still bitter.)

However, the rest looks promising. (Other than Irving's absence, of course.)

Worse, that they kept telling us how powerful and knowledgeable she was, but for the most part didn't actually let her be that way, because it would have derailed the storytelling. *sigh*

I"ll go to my grave convinced Katrina should have been dead all along, and choosing not to move on while she could still help in whatever limited way that allowed. Her arc went cockeyed the moment they decided she had been sent to Purgtory alive and could come back that way.
