Life, it seems, has taken a drastic turn for the better.
Or more productive at least.
On third thought- better. I met a girl that goes on all sorts of crazy adventures with me. She geeks out on the natural world just as much or more than I do, and (a big note here) she shreds.
Moreso, I've moved out of my old house by Roosevelt and started spending time with people that have (gasp) similar interests to my own. I know! Crazy!
My knee still isn't fully recovered, most likely due to the fact that school, work, more school, and even more work have completely dominated my life for the past three months. I plan on working on it intensively this quarter, defaulting to my health than a job.
So, one more quarter in rainy Seattle, then off to field school for six weeks in the bustling cosmopolis of Dillon, Montana. After that, Molly and I are considering moving to Hood River for the rest of the summer and working for the forest service or something interesting like that. Sailing abounds on that part of the columbia, by the way. It is proported to blow 30 on a nightly basis there. Oh my god.
I may end up traveling in the fall if I can find a partner in crime for some international adventure. I'd rather wait and travel with someone else than go it alone this time.
Who knows what winter will bring. Molly might end up taking the quarter off, in which case we'll run away to Jackson Hole or some mountain paradise like that. We'll see!
