Motherhood has brought about many changes- most of them awesome, wonderful, excellent, fulfilling changes. But not the body. So I wasn't supermodel skinny to begin with but I'm going to do it this time. I have done it before and am more motivated to do so now. We will have our swimming pool set up here shortly and utilizing that. As of now we take the baby swimming at least once a week at the indoor public pool and she LOVES it.
We used a whole roll of film last week because she is just too darn cute! She has a pink little Dora the Explorer Bathing Suit and starts kicking before we even get into the pool. She has her ears pierced now too, almost 2 weeks. And she will be 6 months in 3 days! WOW! Time flew by. This is a fun stage right here and I will miss it but off to bigger better things!
All else is well. Having some vehicle issues but it's working out for now. We'll see what happens.
I'll be back every Friday night after I do my weekly "weigh in" and give an update. I have a neat little chart and everything so it'll be interesting. I got all of my information at dietsite.com and they helped me lose it before. And I am determined to do it this time! Along with swimming we try to walk the park at least once a week (except when it rains nonstop). I try to go for 2 walks a day, take each dog separately to give me 2.5 miles a day. We'll see what happens! Here's the chart I posted so ya'll can keep up with me.
This will mainly be used as my weight loss journal now. You'll be able to track my progress with me, YELL AT ME when I'm caught with my hand in the cookie jar, and hopefully offer encouraging things when it gets rough.
I've chosen a heart healthy, 1400 calorie diet, that (in theory) should help me lose 2 lbs a week with the amount (or lack of) exercise I'm doing now. I am excited right now but we'll see how that goes. Sundays will be rough becuase that's when we do the big breakfast and big dinner, but the meals are actual meals. Today shall be French onion Pot roast with carrots and potatoes. Yum Yum!
