weekend update
Hey All,
So the past couple of days have gone by and they've all been pretty good. I'll start with Wed.
Wednesday: After classes were done I had practice. After practice was done I went to dinner with most of the soccer team, like usual. Got done with dinner and headed back to my dorm room where I was planning on doing some homework. I got some little stuff done but that didn't last long because Tim IMed me and said that if I got bored I should come on down and visit. So I did that and him and his roomie were playing sega and enjoying some beer. They claimed it was mountain day on thursday so they were just slacking haha. So I hung around there for like 5 minutes because while I was there I got a call from Russo and she wanted to go "hit" Nikki's house (a.k.a- toliet paper, silly string, window markers) I was all for it and Glo and Molly came along as well. Molly drove us over to Nikki's and we decided to "hit" Nikki's car instead of the house this time, we're saving the house for another time mwhaha. So we got it pretty good and we got film and pictures. We got back to the campus and I decided to again head back to my dorm so I could do some more work, but then Trish called me and I couldn't pass up the oppurtunity to talk to her. I talked to Trish for a good long time and while I was talking to her Tim came over and he started to talk to Trish for a little and the little devil gave Tim some ideas for getting my room. She said it was payback for all the times me and my partner in crime (Mike) duct taped her etc.. haha so yeah I guess I had to see that coming eventually. So after about an hour of being on the phone I hung up and I watched some tv with Tim, we got to see two episodes of Family Matters. It was great, I used to always watch that show and I actually remembered both of the episodes we saw. He left then to pick up drunk people haha and I just watched tv until late because I was believing everyone that was saying it was mountain day the next day.
Thursday: Woke up at 10:30 to find out it was Mountain day yay!! I went online talked to Russo to see what time she wanted to head over to the place they were holding mt. day. We decided on 12noon to head over. I drove Glo, Russo, Tim and Amanda and it was a great ride over. Nothing better then driving with all the windows open on a country road when the leaves are changing. Soooo beautiful. So the ride took about 20-30 minutes and we got there and got some lunch. After lunch we just walked around some and came to the field where they were playing frisbee, football and other stuff. We threw around a football for a while and unfortunaltey we had to leave at like 1:30 because at 2:30 we had to be back at campus to practice before our game at Susquehanna. We got back and I got all my crap together and I was super excited to get to Susquehanna, not only because of the game but because of the fact that I was going to get to see one of my best buds..Jess Farawell! We got to Susquehanna and warmed up, played our game...it didn't go as well as we wanted and we lost, but then after the game I was picked right up when I saw Jess. We were able to talk for a good couple of minutes while the team all made they're way over to the vans. She was awesome and got me a Susquehanna soccer shirt..sorry bud can't wear that around my campus haha, but it was sooooo great seeing her, that def. made my day, besides the fact it was mt. day.
Friday- School was school, had an early practice and then went to dinner afterwards. After dinner came back to the dorm took a quick shower and headed over to Lesher to meet with Glo and Russo so we could go over to Oller Hall to see Mr. Juniata. I went to Russo's room where I was greeted by a butt naked Rebecca Shoaf, she had gone over to Lesher to take a quick shower because she too was going to Mr. Juniata. So we all headed over and the show was great. All the guys did a really great job and it was very entertaining. It got done late but despite that me, Russo and Glo wanted to do something. We decided we wanted to rent a scary movie but we didn't have a membership to the video store but we asked Lindsey Garvey if she had one and she said her boyfriend Joe had one, so they were awesome and drove us to the movie store b/c they were headed over to Sheetz to get food. We rented Texas Chain Saw Masacre and we warned it was scary as hell but whatever we wanted a good scare. Got back to campus went to Russo's room to watch the movie. Amanda and Dre joined us as well. I was sitting in a chair but by the end of the movie I was on the floor next to Glo because we were scared shitless haha. The movie ended and Amanda left and me, Russo and Glo were still alittle freaked out by the movie and as we were talking about it Amanda comes abruptly into the room and scared the crap out of us, but we got a damn good laugh out of it. The movie ended at like 1:15 and at 1:30 I went back to my room for some sleep.
Sat- Got up at 10 for a 10:30 training meal. Had a game vs. Wilkes at 1. The game started so well and we looked amazing. We ended the first half with a score of 2-2. We started the second half slowly and they were able to score 2 more. We came back with another goal and it looked like we were going to get another, but it didn't happen for us so we ended up losing 4-3. It really sucked. I hate losing and its great that we're able to get over the losses but I for some reason just let them hang over me for much longer. I guess its because of the fact that that was the attitude of my highschool team. But whatever after the game at like 5:30 I went out to dinner with Russo and Brosi at Hoss's..it was a very nice break from Baker and we had a good time. When we got back I talked to Glo and she was going to a movie with her dad but she said she'd call when it was over so that we could do something. I was all up to it at the time but I didn't feel good after the game and I really wasn't feeling good after dinner. I think I'm sick now and I just felt like crap, so I did what I could with homework and I passed up drinking and just went to sleep at 11:30.
Sunday- Got up at 7:30 today because the soccer team had signed up to help out at the Special Olympics. Spent my day up till 12 at the Special Olympics soccer section just keeping score and time. It was a fun time with the soccer girls and when we got back to campus I went to watch the guys soccer game. After the soccer game went back to the room and did homework. It was hard to concentrate b/c I was feeling like crap again, even worse than yesterday. Managed to get my CWS essay done which is awesome and after that I relaxed before 5:30 when I went to dinner at Baker with Russo, Tim, Brosi and Glo. After dinner watched tv until 8 when I worked with Brosi on O.Chem. We got that done in record time..very nice. and now I'm watching tv and talking online..still not feeling very good. So I'm going to go now and just enjoy some tv..later
