spring break
Spring break is here, and how do I feel....hmm sick. Yeah I caught the bug that was going around JC, although I don't think I have the flu which is good. Been taking tylenol cold so I'm hoping that'll help some. Still going to Vermont tomorrow and I'm super excited about it. They got a tad bit of rain today, but that quickly changed over to snow, and frankly I'm not worried because they already have like a 7 foot base of snow. Going to mad river glen for the first time ever and I'm excited about that as well because I've never been. Always heard how amazing it is and now finally I get to make my mark on the mountain. Saturday I finally got my haircut and its manageable now, also the Veits came over for dinner which was a lot of fun. Went to some italian place in Caldwell which was ok, nothing too special. Headed back to the house afterwards and unleashed the inner child in me..we played manhunt in the house in the dark, good times there. I got to hear how talented of a guitar player Nicole is turning out to be. Alex actually slept over which was awesome. We managed to sneak some bacardi breezers out of the garage, three for each of us,(patrick, me, alex) got us a little tispey, better then nothing haha. We watched Resident Evil 2 and then basically passed out afterwards. Woke up around 12, had breakfast/lunch. Around 2 proceeded to drive Alex back to Dobbsferry. Stopped at Palisades Mall on the way which was a fun time. Hung at his house for a while and then returned back home around 5:30. The rest of my day's home have consisted of waking up somewhat early, dropping off cars at this garage and picking them up, did some shopping with my mom which was fun. I really just can't wait to go skiing. I actually also saw my old lax coach on Saturday which was great. I stopped off at one of their practices and talked to her for a while..made me miss the team like crazy, and I just wished I could step in a do some drills with them. I promised I'd come back for a game and I know that Becca, Reg and I wanted to come back and see a game all together, all of us senior lax players. Kind of sad that I didn't get to see any of my highschool buds while being at home, wanted to get together with Becca and Em cuz I know they're home but I haven't been feeling very well and now I'm going to Vermont. I'm actually gonna talk to Megs sometime and see if she wants to come visit my college for a weekend during her spring break maybe..that'd be awesome. Oh and one good thing that happened today...went with my mom and the dog to Baxter's vet, Dr. Katz, and thanks to my old french teacher Ms. Warshaw, I'll probablly be having a job at the vet's office this summer. Hopefully after working there I'll be able to see whether it is really something I want to do, because lately I've been having a lot of second thoughts about becoming a vet...so we'll see what happens there..Well I'm gonna try and sleep now so that I won't feel entirely like crap tomorrow...later all!
