home for the weekend
Had a good week back at school, classes went well and it was great to see all my buds again. Week went by pretty quickly and lots of fun was had. I'm happy with my classes and it seems this semester is going to be a good one not only academically but all around. I actually am home again though and its because a) my mom is home from switzerland and i had to see her, b)it'll be my moms b-day on mon. so i thought it'd be nice to be home and celebrate it, c)ps2 is in and gotta pick up other stuff. Drove home friday, got here at around 4:30. drive home wasn't bad, except yet again when I hit the jersey part of route 80..its amazing how bad the drivers in jersey are, but its ok i survived. Friday night was pretty chill, had dinner with the family and we watched a movie together. Today woke up, Patrick and I listened to a swiss radio station we really like on the internet. Talked to Russo a little online and she said that it started to snow in Huntingdon. Patrick and I got dressed and at 12 we ventured out in the Audi to the mall. We went there to get my mom a bday present. I had an idea of putting together a basket for her, and thats what we did. We got her two books by her two favorite authors, two candles, a nice blanket and then finally the basket to put everything into. On the way home from the mall it had been snowing and so people are dumb in snow and it took us forever to get back..patrick's audi did well in the snow, but we like almost died at one point because while on a somewhat steep hill we think that the car in front of us burned rubber to the point it filled the audi with smoke from outside and we inhaled waayyy to much of something..not good..but the audi started to act weird so who knows what happened. I just hope I don't die of smoke inhalation or something...but anyway we got home in one piece. Once home, had some lunch, watched some tv, made my mom her bday cake and put together her basket. Chilled a little while dinner was being made, had dinner, watched a bit of tv and then gave my mom her present and cake. She really liked the gift and thought it was a cute idea so yay! We played scategories which was nice and then watched some tv..we all got tired fast so now i'm lying in bed and probably going to sleep soon...the snow has stopped for now dumping 8 inches, but its supposed to start up again tonight into late tomorrow afternoon leaving around maybe 8-20 inches total..which means I dont' know if my mom will let me drive back to college tomorrow..she said if the snow is still going tomorrow that she's gonna make me leave monday, which I don't really care about, I'll miss three classes but all easy to catch up in considering all the notes are on the P:drive at school..so we'll see what happens..well thats all for now..enjoy the snow!
