Way better than expected!
We had a very nice evening. Brian was late finishing up his appointment. I was sure we were going to be late for our reservations because we also planned to pick our friends up on the way. But, we just made it! Brian brought home a small (thank goodness) box of chocolate and roses with a very nice card. I gave him a card with 2 of his favorite cigars.
We all ate an incredibly lavish meal (so NOT on weight-watchers) and desert. The boys don't really drink so Jenny and I ordered a bottle of a great and inexpensive wine neither of us had tried before. It turned out to be a GREAT choice. It was a Canoe Ridge blend 2001. SO YUMMY!
Brian and I fell into bed around 11:30 - we were so tired.
The good news - Brian landed the listing due to his appointment which made him late...so I guess it was worth the rush.
