Savoring, Gratitude, Social Connection, Kindness, Exercise & Meditation - Day 80/72/64/57 & DailyOM

Savoring
I savored our alumni meetup tonight. It was really nice to see a few of the students who weren't at any of the previous ones.

Gratitude
1. I'm grateful for another successful alumni meetup group.
2. I'm grateful for the writewithaphra group and the fact that I hit today's reading goals (1 chapter and 1 journal article).
3. I'm grateful for smokey turkey.
4. I'm grateful for free yoga videos.
5. I'm grateful for the time today to get everything done that I needed to.

Social Connection
We had a theater department meeting and a student/alumni mixer tonight.



Kindness
I mailed opening night gifts out to my cast.

Exercise
I did 20 minutes of yoga and roughly 1 minute of horrific foam roller exercises that made me feel like my back was being shredded.
I slept for like 6 hours, which was weird. I had to set an alarm the day before and it's like ti reset my body back to it's school alarms, so I woke up for no reason at 7:30 am today.

Meditation
I did two meditations today. The first one was a chakra meditation this morning and I had trouble concentrating. I just did the DailyOM one a few minutes ago and it went well. The theme for this week on the Communicate Like a Buddhist course is meditation.
