Dream.
Had a weird dream last night. The school field was made out of water ... and all my prefect juniors were really small and somehow reminded me of seals. After swimming around wearing a frog mask, I stopped at the school steps (just next to the field) and roasted marshmallows with a bunch of other people. The junior who was hanging around me had a ring and she wanted to take it to this ice mountain thing on the other side of the field (or, um, lake) so that she'll grow to normal size. Then all the other juniors/seals come hopping out of nowhere and start arguing about who gets the ring.
Next thing I know, my add maths teacher is telling me that I'm an emcee for some event they were having at the school hall and now I'm standing behind the school. A group of primary school kids were trying to break in through the fence to give a MCR cd to some random student. I dash off looking for my emcee script and can't find it ... my emcee partner was missing too. Then when I run down to the hall (I found the script by now), the event was already starting and my seniors are going, "Oh, you're emcee ... knock 'em dead!" and cheering me on like that. But I couldn't go up on stage because my script was all messed up and my partner was missing. So I'm standing there, really lost when my add maths teacher gets up instead of me and starts giving dictionary definitions for words like 'chocolate' and a few other words I can't remember.
I'm trying to understand all this ... the prefect juniors probably means orientation. I think my failing my add maths teacher is just telling me the same thing I already know. That I'm not trying hard enough in her classes. My seniors cheering me on probably means the amount of stuff I'm doing for them and how much they're expecting of me. I mean, that is what I'm doing at school ... everytime a senior asks for help I volunteer and now I'm starting to feel the pressure of it all. The event probably means everything in my life in general. And as for definitions ... they're probablyy talking about debate. The team spent the whole of our week practising looking up defintions.
Just for the record I have no idea what the kids hanging onto the MCR cd is supposed to symbolize.
