It continues.

I flipped through the Life and Death TPB just now because I had nothing better to do and came across what Bart said to the rest of the ex-YJ quad just before he joined Wally and Jay in shepherding Superboy-Prime away.  "Take care of each other. Don't forget that." And I sniffled. Sigh.

Anyway, homework's been piled up! Whoopie. Methinks the teachers have decided that we've settled down enough. Weather was humid. Sweated all through recess 'cause I was looking for a teacher to tell her that the announcements system wasn't working. The school got this reeeeeally clever idea of asking prefects to key-in announcements and showing them on the T.V. in the cafeteria. It didn't appear in the T.V today though. Very frustrating.

A friend of a friend of mine called my friends stupid. Not to our faces; if you ask me she'd be too much of a coward to do that. Instead, she spilled it all out to my friend. She was showing off the fact that she's snuggled up all cosily in a private school and we're in a government school. The only difference between a private school and a gov. one is the fact that private students' parents spend a few thousand to get their posh kids in and gov. students pay less than a hundred. Bashed us for not getting as many results as she did for PMR as well. She got 6As. Highest mark is 8As. If she's so smart ... where'd the other two As go? Then she called my friends stupid for going into Arts stream. Back in the '70s, Arts stream students were basically kids who didn't get As for Science and Maths in PMR. So people usually associate Arts students with the word ... incompetent. But times have changed. You can choose for yourself now. Obviously she doesn't know that.

Next time I see her I'm going to give her a piece of my mind. People like that need to have their ego deflated. I met her once before, and tried to get her talking because she looked a little left out with my group of friends. And I know my jokes are lame, but y'know ... she didn't have to give me that look. Like I was something she scraped off her shoe or something. Humdehoomdehum.

On a brighter note, the clumsy trend continues. I was trying to do my Chem homework in my dad's armchair 'cause I wanted to watch House. :p So I put my book on the armrest and my pencilcase on the shelf next to it. At one point I dropped my book. I leaned down, grabbed it, straightened back up ... then knocked down my pencilcase, spilling everything on the floor. Heeeee. :D
