I went up to NY to visit my brother Mike for a few days this past weekend. He's taking improv classes at Upright Citizens Brigade, so we went like every night to see shows there. Hilarioussss stuff. Mike's class had a performance on Sunday so I saw that with some friends and I gotta say, he was one of the best ones there.
So yeah... NY = lots of walking. I just played tennis this afternoon and I got tired pretty damn fast. I talked to someone yesterday who had the same thing I have (Hodgkin's lymphoma) 3 years ago. His treatment was harsher though and lasted 8 months instead of 6. And now he's biking 4000 kilometers across the country with Hopkins 4K for Cancer. So there is hope! :) Although, he did say that physically, he still isn't back to what he used to be and still gets tired faster. Meh. What can you do? Being alive is more important here.
Btw, thank you everyone who left comments on my last entry. It really means a lot to know that I have people behind me supporting me. Love you all :)
I have my last chemo tomorrow!! Woot! Hopefully it'll be the end of this, but I guess I'll have to wait a few weeks to see if I'm going to need radiation or not. I think I'm going to avoid it if at all possible because it tends to give much higher risks of 2ndary cancers. Boo.
