NOOOOOOOOO!!!! Mention was made (I know, I made the mentioning) of my favorite restaurant OF ALL TIME last night at K's bday party. Since I was driving right by there today on my trip to the Zoo, I thought I'd drive by, maybe order something to take back to GR to satisfy me til I could make a proper visit.
The parking lot was empty. The lights were off. There was a sign on the door.
"R. Stanley is moving. February 15th and 16th will be our last days in this location. Thank you for your patronage"
No mention of where they are moving to, when they will open, phone number... anything.
The website is no longer functioning. The phone number just has a recording with all their current location information as if nothing had changed. WHAT HAPPENED?!! How could they do this to me?!?!
Ok, yes I'm being a bit melodramatic. But you would too if you'd ever been there. Plus, I've been following a stupid diet with thoughts of rewarding myself with their crab cakes and peanut oil fries and celebrating my birthday next month with the ultimate of desserts-the pink lady.
