So call me a traitor but I have to try this .. I was on the Chapter's website and saw that the south beach diet book was on clearance .. before i jumped on it and added it to my cart i decided I would research the fad diet .. but it's not so fad ... ok you cut out all carbs in the first 2 weeks but you re-indroduce them later on .. I've been at a plateau for over 15 months and it's driving me nuts I figure I can try this .. lose my 15 lbs and then go back to maintaining my weight on weight watchers .. i mean I just need to change something up in my eating habits ... I might not be able to do it but no matter what I know I can do weight watchers ... And I think my carbs are my problem... so no harm in testing it out unless I gain .. which I highly doubt. Plus Marco wants to do it with me and I think it's a better diet for him as he can eat till he's full which is a huge problem for him with weight watchers I tried to explain it to him but by lunch time he is already in the negative points .. he needs to get rid of his sugars ... it's a must ...
so that's that .. i'll still post ww recipes .. coz im probably just gonna end up combining both diets ... making my recipes friendly for both !
