BLEARGH.
So i herd u leik Swine Flu? What's with all the freaking news coverage and the like? This is worse than the Bird Flu "epidemic" that never happened, except even more people are panicking and some people actually ARE getting sick. None of the news sources say the same thing either; some are like: "OMGZ 500 PEEPS DEAD" and others are like "20 people sick, but it's alllll good :D" I mean, really? I fail to see how this is any different from, you know, THE REGULAR BLOODY FLU. Thousands of people die from THAT annually, but we're making a huge deal of the Swine Flue because apparently it's a newer strain. YAY SCARE TACTICS. I just hope this doesn't alter my trip to Japan; I want to go dammit!
Anyway, yeah. End of semester sucks. I have to read an entire book in these next few days so I can then do a book project due in less than a week; not sure how that's gonna work out. At least it's an interesting title: The Sex Lives of Cannibals. It's amusing, at least, so I don't have to force myself too hard to read through it.
I'm (hopefully) going to Elitch's tomorrow with my Orchestra, but chances are it's gonna rain a lot. We don't know whether we'll postpone it or not play and go anyway or what. If I do get to go this weekend, let's just hope I don't puke my guts out!
