OH GOD. General blah.
So, my mom has been reading Watchmen, which is awesome. She's amazed at how detailed it is for a comic book, and is getting pretty into the story. (Part of me wanted to tell her Transmetropolitan also is amazingly detailed, but I don't think I want her to get curious and read that too, haha...)
Cool beans, right?
BUT OH GOD. MY DAD IS READING AMERICAN GODS.
Not that that's a bad thing at all, but he keeps giving me the look and saying I shouldn't have reading something with such sexual and violent material.
And HE'S ONLY AT THE FIRST CHAPTER.
AHHHHH I'M SCARED. D= I didn't read (too) far into the sex scenes, I swear! I'm afraid I'll get more of those looks as he gets farther in.
*cries* I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
.... Anyway yeah. Life has been pretty blah in general. Been doing mah school work and all. I dropped Orchestra for next year, but that's the most exciting thing. This Orchestra is fun, but ridiculously expensive and time-consuming. I've managed to keep it mostly secret so far.
Yesterday my mom and I went to Toys R Us (which are very hard to find saying as many have closed) somewhere in Westminster and downloaded two adorable little Shaymin onto my Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Too freaking adorable. ;-;

After the Toys R Us thing, we found an Uno's (best damn pizza EVER) and had delicious 4 Cheese Pizza. After THAT we found a Barnes and Noble and I bought The Graveyard Book under the reccomendation of my sister. I like it so far! I forgot to pick up or find Coraline, though. e.o Sorry.
Anyway, life is good. I REALLY HOPE I DON'T GET ANY MORE LOOKS. I'm seriously terrified right now.
EDIT: Also, because I am inherently slow, I just found out who the next Doctor in Doctor Who will be. Unfortunately, the only person I know who's into the more recent stuff is my mom, and I'm too terrified to tell her in case she doesn't like him or some dumb shit.
The season finale was freaking depressing. But I'm looking forward to the next season anyway.
