I saw 10,000 BC this afternoon. It wasn't bad, but the filmmakers sure took some liberties. It was weird to hear them speaking English, first off. But after getting past that, I was able to enjoy the movie, until I got totally confused by the geography. Granted, the world was different back then. But pretty much, the guys walked from some really cold mountainy place to a jungle, to Northern Africa, to a desert, to Egypt. The person I went with told me that someone said the movie was a cross between Apocolypto (which I didn't see) and Ice Age 2. Seems like a weird combination, but really, they were right.
If you end up seeing it, lower your expectations a little bit. It wasn't a bad movie, but I'm certainly not buying the DVD.
