Today kinda sucked.
I say that about most days though.
I've spent the last hour trying to get stuff done before I meet with my advisor tomorrow, and it's just not happening. Even with the motivational classical music. I think though, if I go in with what I have, my advisor won't be upset. My education anyways, right? I still want to be done by March, and I think I can do that if I work on my dissertation once a day, rather than once a week. I've finally got my dissertation committee locked, and that's one more issue off my back.
Finishing up my internship will be a help too. It's sad to say, but I've started to count down the weeks until I can leave the fire department behind. I enjoy a lot of the people that work there, and I think the program is worth doing, but some days I just feel like I'm not making a difference.
