Contrary to evidence of neglect and the hopes of many others, I have not dropped dead (yet). I moved again (see below posts), and have FINALLY got an internet connection from which to rant publicly. I cannot express how debilitating it is for a soothsayer such as myself to be left without so much as a shoebox from which to preach. I had a few thoughts to share (mostly on Katrina's one-year anniversary) , but they may have to wait. In the meantime, I have a little trinket to offer from my offline writing
I'm Looking
Forward to
Being That Guy,
That guy who,
Who makes you
Realize how special
You truly are.
If I might
Make a wish
Tonight I'd
Talk to you
All night long.
So it's fair
To say that
I'd talk to you
All day,
And wonder if
I might still
Talk to you.
Until I wonder
No longer,
And I may
Stay longer,
In a conversation
Without direction
Based on affection;
No need for correction.
And I'd count on
Knowing all along
That I'd give away
What I might say,
If only because
I was thinking of
What you would,
If I could
Dream about;
If I'd shout
What I thought
I'd give it a shot.
