Proseful Poetics: Consumating Cross

May 09, 2006 20:55

You are like an opium den
and a mistress keeping me awake.
I am your gentleman caller
but hardly ever your lover.
I appear as but a specter
on a plain of geeks and goddesses,
but as aberitions tend to flee
so too I cannot touch but feel.
Passed on like notes of schoolchildren
though fading memeries may be preserved
In coded reference, and in deference
To the astral and spacial interest.
Chasing the tails binary we forget
until we can say "tag, you're it".

I think I've been spending too much time on Consumating, much enough time to write a poem about a website.
Maybe you'd like to join me over there?

poem, internet, consumating, prose
