not gonna lie, a couple weeks ago i was with dubick and her cousin paul, and i gave it a shot. the daytona 500 was on television, and it was the last 20 laps or so.
there's SO much i never thought about, like that there's actual rules, and caution flags when there's an accident, and alliances, and highly skilled and tactful pit crews, and that the course is 2 miles around (yeah that's comparable to kenmore), and the advertising is CRAZY. when that one guy won-jeff gordon?, it was completely obvious that he had an agreement to hold the pepsi bottle as he raised his hands in victory, then shortly after had to take the victory sip of aquafina. that sip of aquafina must've earned him like a million dollars.
needless to say, i got really into it. its kind of interesting, and i guess not as low as i've always thought it to be. you should give it a try sometime.
