(no subject)
Went to korn a couple nights ago. Chris and i showed up for the concert 4 hours early, so we waited outside, met some other fans for all across Canada and the states, here to see the concert. We ended up being the first 10 people in, and were right up against the baracades, a foot left from center. 10 years were alright, no body was really pushing. then mudvayne came on. SHIT! the pain i felt against my rib cage when they hit the stage. i mean sure, i was the closest anyone could be, and the lead singer did stick his tounge out at me, but they need some bloodly padding on those baracades! by the end of their set, i majorly bruised. then korn came on. this was the moment we had been waiting for. the show was amazing! the lights, the screens, the pure magic of it all! i was blow away. there was this red curtain covering half the stage, but once it went up a whole other part of the band was revealed. there were 4 men in black suits wearing different masks. one being a horse, another a bunny. it was one of the best shows i've ever seen live. although, after about 7 songs into korns set, then pain i was feeling was unbearable. plus, i was being kicked in the head so many times by constant crowd surfs. one guy kept going over top so many times that i actually clawed him. he didn't come back over after that. anyways, after that 7th song, while munky was doing his solo, i felt like i wanted to puke.. i could hardly kept my eyes open, i wanted to pass out. they pulled me out. that was that. amazing night.
