(no subject)
i suppose i'll write a quick update before i have to head to work in about an hour. today was uneventful, i had a doctors appointment after school, just to get prescriptions renewed. my doctor keeps giving me shit about my pap smear.. because i keep putting it off. sorry that you're weird, asian, awkward, creepy and balding and i dont exactly want you messing around in my hoo-ha. my old doctor was a woman so it wasnt as bad before.. but the doctor i have now, doctor 'chang', always seems so uncomfortable. he hardly even ever makes eye contact with me and stutters and does the awkward throat-clearing-ahem-thing whenever he says embarassing things like "breast tenderness". i don't even know. i suppose i have to get it over and done with eventually. ugh.
my niece is here today, my mom is babysitting while my stepsister is out at a job interview. why she's at a job interview while on maternity leave, i don't know. strange. but, my niece is adorable, so i'm not really complaining. it's still going to be relatively annoying having her live with me for the next two weeks, though. speaking of which - my parents leave tomorrow. and i'm not even excited, really. whatever.
she kind of looks like an alien sometimes. and she has really cute, fat legs.
last night the hot water heater in our basement/my bathroom had a leak, so my entire bathroom (all 4x4 feet of it) was completely flooded, and it dissolved the glue on the tiles so now when you step on the floor in there, water squishes out from underneath. SO UNPLEASANT. and on top of that, we no longer have hot water until the guy comes to fix it. today i had to wash my face by boiling water in the kettle, and pouring it into the plugged sink. it was lovely being a pioneer for the morning.
"having a baby is so much fun! except when they're sleeping ... but don't get any ideas" - my mom, just now. how nice.
anywho, i suppose i should get something to eat before i have to go stand around a jewlery kiosk for 6 hours. how exciting is my life?
