Finally, some more art.
Actually, first there's this, which doesn't.
Because it's been in my sketchbook for forever and I figured I might as well scan it.
Before Crisis!Elena, Gun (f), Final Fantasy VII Elena, who never got finished because class ended and I never got back to it. And my nice pencil is now too short to use. I need to get/find/buy/scrounge up a new one.
Elfe, because I was thrilled to finally find a full-body reference picture and was bored out of my mind with my homework, so I ended up wasting quite a while sketching this up. Mostly just for the sake of the outfit. Shading and proportions are so not up-to-snuff.
And then this, from my math notebook. Before anyone asks, yes, I do take notes. ...Every time I draw Elfe, someone asks me if she's a boy. D:
A scribble during class of something I hoped would someday become a full-fledged, much better-planned, less classwork-covering drawing. Because somehow I thought it would be a good idea to draw Rufus political cartoon style, but did so when I was bored in Precalc with no Rufus or political cartoon reference pictures. Or scissors.
The explanation? Well, Rufus said it was too expensive to rule the world with money. So what does that mean? ...BUDGET CUTS! The image for the full-fledged political cartoon would be Rufus cutting up the Shin-Ra budget into little bitty pieces, but, well, I actually needed to read those notes later.
Tried drawing Cloud in a similar style later that day, again without reference pictures. Not the worst I've butchered his hair without refs...
Is it weird that I want to draw a whole bunch of Shin-Ra propaganda posters and political cartoons and stuff?
Rufus looking all ROAR. The goal of this pic was to draw Rufus looking all roar with the Al Behd eyes. Because Nomura is on some kind of crack and I can deal with the Shinra being Al Behd -- it was kind of my theory all along once I found out X and VII are linked/really obvious because of that Shinra kid. But I can't deal with the Shinra/Al Behd being aliens, because hey WHAT? Does Rufus know he's an alien?
But you can't really see his eyes anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
And this last one just because I think it's adorable.
My little sister is going through a fangirl phase. She likes Tidus and Turk Vincent. And she's going through a note-passing phase. Where even if she's right next to you, she'll doodle/write on whatever scrap of paper is in front of you and give it to you in order to communicate.
Well, over winter break I was working on some fic challenges for this holiday drabble exchange on Gaia. And I couldn't figure out who, of this list of fic recs, I should do my next drabble about. So she passes me this. (The blacked out patches are names -- as if I wouldn't know who it was "addressed" to or who "sent" it. XD)
So I decided to respond in kind.
