The Announcement
Well, although it has been a while since the question was popped and parents informed, I haven't yet posted here on LiveJournal, and it is about time!
I'm delighted to announce that davonshire and I will be getting married September 8, 2007.
We met in St. John's Newfoundland four years ago and dated for about 8 months before I left for a promotion and greater career opportunities in Ottawa. We kept in touch over the years, and although we both had significant relationships with other people during that time, soon after we began dating again in August, it was clear to both of us that we have a profound connection and we decided to become engaged.
davonshire is currently enrolled in graduate school at Queen's in Kingston, which means we are at the moment doing the long-distance thing, but he will be moving to Ottawa in the end of May and our wedding will be held here in Ottawa.
