And it told me I should feel pain, so I did. I lacerated the area between my left thumb and index finger at work today. I was trying to fix a metal insert that goes in our fry hopper but my hands were a bit greasy and I slipped and came down on the side of the piece of metal. Voila, deep cut for me.
I immediately left work with my sister who drove me to the emergency room. The visit was actually quite smooth and quick strangely. Workers comp hates me. I smashed my finger in the safe last year around this time, so I think this must be an annual thing. I must mutilate myself at least once.
