[It's ridiculously late - 3:20 AM to be more precise. Most sane people are, by now, in bed or are vampires/whatever or are doing other things. The mess hall itself is pretty empty for the most part, although there is one guy sitting at a table near the entrance on his laptop, sipping at a cup of cheap coffee . . .]
