There are occasionally times when a performance causes a fellow to simply stare in shock and awe at the sheer spectacle of utter incompetence he has been blessed (cursed? blessed.) to witness. Does glitter crunch underfoot? Maybe you need to start reconsidering the acts you book if you're going to achieve this lofty goal.

Oh, Merlin. The glitter didn't even occur to me. That stuff's a bloody nightmare to sweep up.

I wouldn't be surprised if the floor glitters for the rest of the week.
