Silvering!
So Friday night I went into Hot Topic to buy my brother a Panic! At The Disco t-shirt for his birthday as he requested. While I was there I picked up an AP magazine for myself. When I got up to the register, the sales guy (who basically can convince me to buy anything because I think he's absolutey gorgeous, and who I have to thank for introducing me to The Spill Canvas) said "You're not gonna get the new issue of AMP? It's got Silvering in it, a band from Eau Claire..." So of course I said "Okay, sure, put it on there."
I was flipping through that magazine today and found a little blurb-y thing about them saying how their album is really good and the guy can't believe they're not signed and blah blah blah. So I went and looked them up on MySpace. I discovered 2 very awesome things.
1. They really are very good.
and
2. HOLY SHIT I'VE MET THESE GUYS AND DIDN'T KNOW IT!
They're in Festival like every other day. No kidding. I happen to know that the lead singer was born on Halloween. Why? Not because I'm some crazy stalker person, no, but because I carded him for some beer or something once and ended up having a discussion with him about how sweet it is that he was born on Halloween. They're incredibly nice guys who actually have a conversation with you while you're working, which let me tell you, doesn't happen often. I have a tendency to remember the people who are in there all the time and who are very personable, and the guys in this band are some of them. Funny though how I find this out and now I won't be back at work until September.
And they have a show at The House of Rock on May 18th. Too bad I can't go though cuz I'm not 21. Dammit.

Lead singer is the guy on the left. Another reason I remember him is because of that hair. How do you not remember that hair?

I'm so ready to get out of here, it's ridiculous.
