did Eye of the World not go so well? speaking of books I meant to tell you to have no fears - I am not rushing through Assassin's Quest in order to finish it before the family rush got in and I'd have no chance to read (because I have trouble setting down a book for a long period of time if I'm really into it). I got a bit under the weather and couldn't/wouldn't/didn't read at all, so alas. Enjoying it though!

Eye of the World is still on my nightstand, bookmarked where I left off - and I even remember where I left them (though not the name of the place - a vast deserted city that the Trollocs fear.) My brain's just still not tracking well enough to read something new, I think. Hopefully once the holidays are over, I'll be able to pick it back up again. I'm glad you're not rushing through the last book; the first two seem to just roll merrily (and not so merrily) along with one thing or another happening to Fitz, but the last one ... well, I was going to say it should be savored, because so much happens with all the characters on the quest and once they arrive at their destination, but I remember staying up way too late one night to finish it. I'm sorry you're a bit under the weather - sucks, doesn't it? lol ( ... )

yeah I understand. Ooh yeah - that's the part where Mat picks up something that is mentioned throughout the rest of the series. That's a good part, definitely worth the wait so you can savor it.

This final book I can see how is different than the other two. they've just started their quest to Verity - I think I'll just have to suffer with only reading a little bit throughout the weekend. it really is - it's just the headaches acting up though, nothing major, but one of those things that's minor but still makes you unable to do certain things like read. Or look at any form of light.

haha it's alright - rest up and reply when you can.

Susan, you're friends with me.
There is no such thing.
As normal anyway.

Ooh, indeed, I forgot to add my "whatever that is" disclaimer as it relates to the world 'normal.' ;)
