I'm clutching at straws here, I know, but...

Is there a term for being able to get visions from touching objects?

You know, as in "we found this knife, and by touching it got a vision of it last being used in the previously unsolved Black Woods murder"?

Or, y'know, words to that effect?

I just have an idea for a story using it.

And no, king_of_bees, it features neither tentacles nor mutants.
