Guilty Pleasures MeMe
As both jesterson and friendly_otter have tagged me, I reply.
None of this "subversion" lark for me, thankyou...
Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 Guilty Pleasures" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 Guilty Pleasures as well as state this rule. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.
1: Air Guitar. I may be a geek/nerd/whatever insults people have hurled at me over the years, but give me an air guitar and I'm an 80s Metal God. Beware, he/she who gets in my way when the Power Of The Riff compels me! :P
2: Transformers. Be they the not-quite-so-realistic ones of now or the not-quite-so-well-made ones of yesteryear, I'm a sucker for these over-priced lumps of plastic that (with half-an-hour's manipulation) become different-shaped over-priced lumps of plastic.
3: Air conditioning. I know it's bad for your skin/your hair/the enviroment/whatever, but I love it. Too hot? Switch it on and become Mr Cool. They should invent full-body suits of it and hand them out when you step off the plane in Miami, in my humble and honest opinion...
4: Bad horror movies. I should have grown out of them before I was old enough to watch them. I'm 26 now, and don't think I'll ever tire of seeing stupid people running up stairs they shouldn't in spooky old houses they shouldn't.
5: Smug superiority. I know, I know- not everyone can be as clever as everyone else- but I take a near perverse level of delight in knowing there are things I know and can do that others don't and can't. (Whereas at the same time having near crippling levels of self-doubt- I'd probably be worth millions to the right psychiatrist, right?)
