Ideas for you: organize a Japanese bake sale, featuring both American and Japanese sweets; have a garage sale and send either all, half, or part of the money towards relief; talk to your school or student council about doing a culture day and sending the proceeds towards the relief effort; just donate a dollar every week! That's what I'm doing, as well as suggested the bake sale and the culture day to my college's S.G.A.
