the moose hit us!!
this weekend was awesome. matthew and i went up to his aunt and uncles cabin up in maine from thurs to sun. and minus the bitter sweetness of the trip (we went up to spread the ashes of another aunt) it was wicked fun.
firsts:
-saw a moose!
-went kyaking!!
-went water tubing
-got lost in the woods
other good things:
-went swimming in a clean lake
-finally got some sun
-playing asshole with all the cousins
-just being out in the woods!
bad things:
-got lost in the woods
-cut my shin up by falling in a hole in the woods
-sunburn
-being sick all day friday because of drinking vodka to play asshole
-out house.
the good totally outweighed the bad/sad. saturday was really nice beacuse it was just me, matthew, brendan and the tilley's cause everyone else left that morning. (there were a total of 19 of us at one point) got to go out on a boat everyday. sit in the sun. swim in the lake. even with all my bites, cuts and bruises it was a blast.
now im back to the real world and have to start thinking about packing. this is going to suck. not necesarily the moving part, but the sorting and packing and cleaning and all that crap. but it must be done.
