The Art of Not Growing Up
So, today I'm at work, feeling like I should be doing something but there's literally nothing to do so I decided to update my blog as it was mentioned to me recently that I've been lacking in amusing updates. The title for this entry comes from my sudden redelving into my favourite genre of music: punk rock! Heartbreakingly, I appear to have lost all of my punk-o-rama cds so I ended up downloading them all and have been revelling in being 16 again! <3
Saying that, there's nothing that amusing about this update. I've now finished my access course through Open University! Hurraaaaay! I suddenly feel a bit lost on my days off now. For now I've been catching up on anime and have just brought myself up to date with Bleach. For those of you who read/watch Bleach, you'll be familiar with the ULTIMATE PAIRING of Gin and Rangiku and possibly the tragic circumstances at the end of the Arrancar Saga.
Anyway, I love the relationship between these characters and the anime made me BAWWWWL my eyes out ;~; so, I'm reccomending this to all fans of Gin and Rangiku -
Gin/Ran - Something Left to Save
Beautiful fanmix with some lovely songs, including the very fitting Smashing Pumpkin's Disarm. <3 I love the tragic love stories.
Anyway! Aside from that, I've been working on a new 3-part fic' called Pride and Presumption. The final draft of the first part is with my beta-reader captainlora at the moment and will hopefully be up in the first few days :]
I've been wanting to write some Gin/Ran over the last few days but haven't found the right angle for it. Usually takes me awhile to get a good prespective. I've written for them before, however. Sayonara, Gin and This Town, both written from Rangiku's POV as I found it somewhat easier, but I might try to make my next peice of writing from Gin's POV as a bit of a challenge :]
I recently joined a Harry Potter RPG on insanejournal as Regulus, it was my first journal-based RPG but it seems to have kind of flopped. v__v;

MCM EXPO is AROUND THE CORNER :3 I'm only going for the Sunday this time with Stce, We're doing Medusa and Noah from Soul Eater and will be hosting a Shibusen-UK meet! :] I'm excited about this particular meet as it will (hopefully) be more organised than the last :33
