grrrr. i'm grumpy it appears that i left my cell phone charger in Red Deer so now my cell phone is dead and there should be an extra charger around but damned if i can find the bloody thing. Also i have contracted a cold and my voice is fading away and i'm hungry. but that's probably enough whining for now.
Red Deer was awesome and hilarious, we went to a bar named Billy Bob's I had never been in a bar where soo many guys a wearing cowboys hats, it was crazy. they wanted 2 pices of id at the door to get in and the dance floor was seriously like bumper cars. They actually two step in there. Funny shit.
the conference was pretty good too. it was nice to see what other people from not winnipeg were making, but at the same time i don't think i learned a whole lot from it. seemed like some of the same old shit you always hear. We stopped in Medicine Hat and saw the huge kilns at the Hycroft and Medalta sites so that was nice, i have a sweet/hideous picture of me in my pj's by the Hycroft Kiln. Yay for 14 hour car rides! Actually it was way better then i thouhgt it would be, we all got along super well. But there was a strange thing on the last night where it appeared that some one ate some of our take home, and then spirited away the containers. Jen, Elise and Crystal swear it wasn't them, I know it wasn't me, and I doubt some one came into our room, Jen was there all night. weird.
