My print "Ariadne" is a part of this show and artist proofs will be available for sale. "Ariadne" is my 2nd foray into three color reduction woodblock printmaking. Reduction prints are made from a single block, with more of it carved away after each color printing; in the end, you have an edition of prints that can't be re-printed later because all but the last block is destroyed in the process. Carving a reduction block is a nerve-wracking an exhilerating experience, and I've fallen in love with the technique.
