Today Will and I went to the downtown library after eating lunch at Sushi Hatsu a few blocks away. I knew that I couldn't walk back to the car so I had Will get the car to pick me up. The library has no chairs or benches outside to deter kids from loitering outside so I had nowhere to sit. As I was standing I started to feel a little lightheaded, but nothing I havent felt before. Then suddenly the lights in my head started flickering and everything got really quiet (I couldn't hear any of the loud city noise) and I felt like I was in slow motion and my lips started to tingle and the world around me was spinning. I went back inside and tried my best to tell the librarian to call 911. She gave me a chair and then ran to the phone. As I sat down I started to slowly feel better but not 100%. The paramedics checked all my vitals and everything was pretty much fine but that I could have anemia and I should call my doctor. I called my doctor when I got home and he said it's usually normal and its probably from standing for a long time or a little bit of anemia.I've never fainted before so it was a really scary feeling. All these things were going through my head like: am i about to die? am i having a stroke? a heart attack? Anyway, it really freaked me out and I hope it never happens again.
