one of my jobs here at the office is to scan tax documents into our system so that we can eventually get rid of the paper copies. i often have to take old documents up to the front desk to ask cara what i should be saving the files as in the computer. cara is the secretary here at the office, and is a very no-nonsense kind of person. she says it how it is. my favorite thing to hear is that i don't need to scan something at all. and somehow cara just has a way of saying that so that it sounds as though it is just the stupidest idea in the world to be scanning this or that. why on earth i would need to waste my time doing it is just beyond her. emphatically, she says: "well, i don't see why we would need to scan that. that's just foolish." ...i very much enjoy her
